This is the ultimate cycling adventure - from Girona to the epic Col du Tourmalet via the beautiful Costa Brava and climbs of the Pyrenees. We experience the contrasting Spanish and French cultures and cuisines, enjoy the beaches, art and medieval villages of the Costa Brava and journey to the Pyrenees, conquering the famous Cols of the Tour de France and Vuelta Espana.

The ride begins with easier days of rolling coastal riding, building to the challenging climbs of the Pyrenees. Arrive with a good level of fitness and mountain experience. There are opportunities for more/less climbing along the way and 3 loop/rest days.

Ride from Girona to the Col du Tourmalet via the Costa Brava. We start in Girona, one of the world’s top cycling destinations. We explore the local roads, stunning coastlines, medieval villages and vineyards of the Emporda wine region. We have 2 nights in the spectacular traditional seaside village of Cadaques - home to Salvador Dali.
We climb the famous Rocacorba and our route traverses the Pyrenees, crossing the most beautiful and well known climbs of the Tour de France and Vuelta España for a finalé of the climb to the famous Col du Tourmalet.
Terrain Rolling coastal cycling making way to hilly and mountainous terrain as we pass through the Pyrenees.
Cuisine is a highlight on all our tours. This tour offers an incredible range of food from Catalan seafood along the coast, tapas bars, to hearty mountain cuisine and refined french fare. We are passionate about food and group meals are carefully researched to showcase the best of the regions .

Start/Finish Meet in Girona, Spain. Finish in Lourdes, France. Girona is easily accessible from Barcelona international airport. Lourdes is on the the TGV line with direct services to Toulouse, Bordeaux or Paris all with airports. Transfers also available.

Starting in Girona - a beautiful, historic Catalan city, with wonderful restaurants and a cafe scene to rival Melbourne’s, surrounded by incredible mountain and coastal cycling - it’s easy to see why so many pro cyclists call it home. We ride the quiet roads popular with the locals, visit lakeside Banyoles and climb the famous Rocacorba.
The Costa Brava - spectacular coastal cycling, medieval villages, the vineyards of the Emporda wine region. We spend 3 nights on the coast, with lots of opportunities for afternoon swims in the Med. Art lovers will relish the opportunity to visit Salvador Dali’s house in Cadaques, where we spend 2 nights.
Riding through the Pyrenees mountain villages, where we share tiny country roads with sheep, goats and cows as the rolling hills become the mighty peaks of the Pyrenees. The villages on the French and Spanish sides have their own unique culture, cuisine and traditions as we ride through them and stop to soak up the atmosphere.
Conquering the spectacular and famous Cols and Passo! Aspin, Peyresourde, Portillon, Superbagneres, Canto, Bon Aigua - to name a few!! We spend 2 nights in beautiful Bagneres de Luchon. It’s a mountain climbers dream as we ride these epic climbs and sweeping, hair-pinned descents and have a grande finalé ride to conquer the epic Col du Tourmalet!
