Spend one week in Melbourne - the cycling capital of Australia, and ride, eat, sleep like a local! This bike friendly city boasts picturesque bayside cycling routes, hundreds of kilometers of inner-city cycle paths and is surrounded by mountains perfect for longer rides or day-trips to get out of the city for hillier rides surrounded by picturesque bush and farmland.
This 6 day, 5 night “Tour de Melbourne” is the ultimate Melbourne cycling experience! We ride the best local rides - Beach Road along Port Phillip Bay, the Yarra Boulevard surrounded by gum trees and views of the city and the Capital City Trail - pedalling through inner Melbourne’s eclectic neighbourhoods.
We soak up the restaurant and cafe scene - enjoying Melbourne’s top cafes and hidden gems on our daily rides and popping in to visit the cycling concept stores and cafes - including Rapha and The Pedla in the heart of inner urban Melbourne.
We will spend two days cycling in the Yarra Valley - just an hour from central Melbourne. We will ride along stunning cycle paths through farmland & vineyards and conquer mountain climbs in the Australian bush. We will stay overnight in the cute country town of Warburton & indulge in local produce and paddock-to-plate dining.
There will be plenty of off-bike experiences - from the laneways of the CBD to Healesville Sanctuary in the Yarra Valley. This Tour de Melbourne gives you the opportunity to experience the best of Melbourne by bike!

Coffee Stops / Aperitivo Hour Enjoy a welcome aperitif on Friday and morning coffee stops at some of Melbourne’s most iconic cafes.
Start/Finish Melbourne, Victoria. Our hotel is centrally located near the main railways station and airport bus stop.

Tour Highlights
Conquer the famous 18km climb to Mt Donna Buang - with a 6% gradient and beautiful smooth bitumen, we climb through beautiful forest and are rewarded with views from the lookout at the top.
Cycling the Capital City Trail, an off road cycle path circling the heart of inner Melbourne that takes in famous landmarks and neighbourhoods - Federation Square and the Yarra river, the MCG, Royal Botanic Gardens and Dights Falls.
Ride Beach Rd, Melbourne‘s most iconic cycling route hugging Port Phillip Bay. Weekend mornings attract hundreds of lycra-clad cyclists riding from Melbourne to Mordialloc through the bayside suburbs. IKeen for more riding? Strong cyclists can continue on to tackle Olivers Hill or Arthurs Seat climb.
